CFP/Business Analyst
Summary
The Certified
Financial Planner/Business Analyst will support the Editorial/Content
Development team in every phase of service development and implementation,
including assuming a leadership role in designing and writing about financial
services and serving as a resource to our Call Center. Work with a team
of professionals with various specialties to develop the best possible
solutions to our client's financial crisis situations. Gain information
from our clients through interviewing, research and analysis of their
financial stress. Effectively communicate solutions through both verbal
and written presentations.

Specific
Duties and Responsibilities

Help develop content based on technical financial planning perspectives
but expressed in engaging lay language.

Provide support for data definitions,
screen design, calculator functionality, content creation and comprehensive
product business definitions to support the creation or improvement
of Internet technology-based products.

Assist, as a liaison to the technical developers for the business
needs of customers, partners and advisors.
- Serve
as a subject matter expert. Research content for financial planning

Qualifications
Business analyst experience. The ideal candidate will have four or more years of financial planning
and project management experience. Candidates should hold CFP designation.
CPAs with financial planning experience are also encouraged to apply.
Business analysts may specialize in investment, insurance, annuities or
a broad set of financial products and services. Specific familiarity and
demonstrated knowledge of general financial planning, retirement, insurance,
tax, investment and estate planning is essential.
Product knowledge concerning investments, financial insurance, P&C insurance,
mortgage and consumer/student loans is a significant plus.
In addition to content development, our Financial Planners will help create
financial education programs and customized financial-planning seminars
on a variety of topics. They will also help develop internal training
programs to enhance team members' knowledge and presentation skills.
In addition, the candidate should have:

Education
BA in marketing,
finance, communications or technology field; MBA with a global perspective
is a plus
