Title:
Project Manager
Summary
An
experienced project manager with substantial knowledge of
Internet technology, to work with a dynamic production team in
a collaborative environment to build a comprehensive personal
financial management Web site.
Specific
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will oversee
and facilitate a rapid Web site development project,
interacting with a core group of 10-12 people made up of
developers, management, vendor/partners, and end users. Tasks will include the following:

Define project requirements and objectives by developing project timelines
to monitor and evaluate.

Interface
with clients to determine project objectives, insure customer
service, and provide timely transfer of service ordered.

Coordinate
schedules, milestones, and status information.
- Report all status to senior management
on a daily basis.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills and ability
to communicate ideas and concepts to others, verbally and in
writing. Ability to independently lead project meetings to
develop, review and coordinate scope and schedule. High energy
level, creativity, decisiveness, balanced sense of urgency.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure with limited
oversight.
Experience
5+ years of work experience, including 3+ years as a Project Manager or Consultant
Financial service background a plus
Background in technology a definite plus for managing projects across different technology
platforms, including JAVA, XML, WEB, OO, ORACLE, INFORMIX,
SQL, UNIX, NT, COM development.
Technical
experience in Firewall technology and TCP/IP communications.
