Job Title:            Technical Designer

Responsibilities

Manage the technology side of our Web projects with immediate focus on database design and implementation. Responsible for project definition, development, launch, enhancement and integration of online tools and Web site features. Lead cross functional teams of marketing and technical employees.

Manage and coordinate complex project issues and risks. Identify customer needs, assess competitive offerings and define product objectives, features, and user experience. Work with Web site to develop functional design, technical and testing requirements. Manage creative agency resources in the design and delivery of the user interface. Manage any external vendors, contractors or consultants.

Requirements

• Strong project management and systems/applications development experience in a financial services, product development, marketing or technology environment.
• Experience with technical platforms including a minimum of 2 years with Web technologies.
• Direct experience with on-line product management and knowledge of on-line financial services preferred.
• Strong customer focus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and oral and written communication skills.
• High level of energy, flexibility, and ability to persevere through periods of significant change and challenges.

Education

BS in CS or related technology field; MBA with a global perspective is a plus
