Job Title:            VP Business Development

Summary

We are an industry leader in the development and marketing of personal financial education and management systems as well as e-finance delivery systems. We have an immediate need for a Vice President, Business Development to work closely with company's senior executives to develop and implement strategic opportunities. The position will be an integral part of a core team that is responsible for company's business development, including corporate partnerships, M&A, co-brand marketing of core products, alliances with companies that offer Internet transaction features, and product cross-sell relationships.

Responsibilities

Potential to have a significant impact on both the company and the personal financial services industry. Responsible for all aspects of business development, including deal and contract negotiations, economic evaluation of opportunities, partner relationship management, and landscape analysis. Also responsible for business development communication and collaboration with our investor audience.

Knowledge and Skills

Three to five years of business development experience with a proven track record of closing highly successful transactions. Prior strategic consulting or financial services background a plus. The most important requirement is the ability to source, manage and execute business development opportunities, from initial contacts through deal execution. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical ability and solid business judgment.

Demonstrated ability to quickly understand a market or technology opportunity through research and investigation. Strong modeling capabilities to assess the economic implications of potential deals. The ability to quickly learn the dynamics within the personal financial service market, and the technologies that will continue to reshape this industry.

Education

MBA or graduate degree is preferred.
